Bountiful Harvest

Where we are living there is a huge pear tree that was so loaded with pears that the branches are breaking.  So I have been canning pears.  At last count I had about 70 quarts!  Between that and studying for a medical coding class I have not had much time except hit and miss for crafting.  I am working on a tatted necklace that is about finished and a lapghan for a knitting group I started to attend called the Chatting Needles.  They are for people who know a cancer victim, survivor, or are one themselves so that takes in pretty much everybody.  They are a very friendly bunch of ladies and I was glad to find them.  I am also going to start a bonnet for my newest granddaughter Lillie.  Once I figure things out, I hope to put up pictures!  Well back to the pears!  Have a good day, everyone!

  1. Good luck with your blog. I know how it feels to be alone in this cold world of bits and bytes.
Hope you will get more of us here. And, for sure, I am craving to see your work.
